Please find attached a few additional concerns I have outlined regarding website access and the format of the open houses for the environmental assessment process. Wishing you all a happy holiday season.

Subject: Extension for Fortis BC Addenda
As I’m sure you’ve already heard at this evening’s open house, we need more time to be able to engage in the public comment period for the Eagle Mountain - Woodfibre Gas Pipeline Project addenda.
Only allowing for 1 week to provide feedback after the open house is not adequate, and simply another poor reflection on a very broken Environmental Assessment Process.
We are in the middle of an election. It is Canadian Thanksgiving. The timing could not be worse for enabling public engagement and seems calculated to limit public input. Add to that FortisBC’s shocking lack of advertising for these changes, (note that sending notices in a junkmail package that most people instantly discard is not sufficient), and people are only finding out about the proposed changes to the pipeline/compressor station now.
Please allow us to the end of October to be able to adequately review the addenda and provide meaningful input.
